South View Children's Home

Our new children’s home is a substantial detached farm house on the outskirts of Stamford, Lincolnshire. The home provides residential accommodation 52 weeks a year for  boys 10 – 17 years of age who have particular needs arising out of their learning, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. We seek to create a homely and nurturing environment in which the care staff team work respectfully and sensitively with young people so that they can make sense of their past, enjoy the present and look forward to the future. The house offers extensive, comfortable, well equipped living space. On top of this each young person will have their own individual bedroom, with lockable door and en-suite facilities

Young people placed in the Children’s Home will have the opportunity to gain confidence and build self-esteem in an atmosphere that encourages involvement in a range of social, leisure and cultural experiences dependent on their interests and abilities. The experienced, dedicated care team will strive to ensure that each young person has a strong awareness of, and pride in, their individual identity and culture and that they are enabled to develop their personal, emotional, social and educational potential. Each young person placed at the home will have a placement at The Grange Therapeutic School available to them, offering unrivalled care, education and consistency across a 24 hour curriculum.
