engage in their future National Awards 2011
The Grange Therapeutic School wins at PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARD CEREMONY
engage in their future is a charitable organisation that seeks to improve services for children with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) and was formed to enable Head Teachers working within BESD education to address and influence issues affecting this sector locally, regionally, and nationally. It represents a collective group of likeminded leaders who seek innovative solutions to challenging behaviour in the learning environment, and provides advocacy for those with challenging behaviour and those working with them.
engage in their future has established a new National Awards scheme, open to all its member schools, to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of their students be it as individuals, teams or as a school.
The inaugural National Awards Ceremony which took place on Monday 27th June saw the Grange Therapeutic School walk away with two awards. The Carp Academy took first place in the innovation and creativity award whilst the Beyond the UK category recognised the boys work and achievement in supporting charities overseas.
One of the member of the judging panel was moved to say - “I was personally blown away by many of these entries and quite humbled by what these students and their teachers can and do achieve.”.
